WHERE DO I START?

One of the most difficult steps of this process is choosing the right piece.  Choose what you like. We have a very large selection of bisqueware, over three hundred and fifty pieces to choose from.  We have bowls, mugs, plates, figurines, picture frames, tiles, vases, tea and Saki sets, serving pieces, and much more.

The next step requires some of your imagination. Think of a design that only you could dream up. Decide what colors you want to use and carefully paint your piece, or should I say masterpiece.  Your piece, color choices, design, and your own brush strokes transform the bisque clay form into something of your very own.  It is pottery by you. Your pottery will be ready for pick up in 7 days from your studio sitting.

We will take it from there. We then dip glaze your piece and fire it to 1825 degrees to create a tough and timeless art piece of your own creation. With a few exceptions of some specialty glazes, all decorated and clear glazed ceramics used by Ceramics Clayland are food safe. It’s as easy as one, two, three. Actually just one, two. We will handle the three.

HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED?

It really doesn’t take too long to paint a piece.  You can create something fun and personalized in no time flat or you can take your time. Your the Artist. It’s really up to you.  At Ceramics Clayland, we do not charge a studio fee so feel free to take as long as you need to finish your piece.  You can even come back on another day if you can not finish in one sitting.  Most pieces take about 2 hours to paint and decorate, but that really depends on the artist.
